Leelynn and Turner’s wedding day was held at the Farm on the Lake overlooking the gorgeous views of Lake Cumberland. Leelynn and Turner are not from Kentucky but Leelynn spent every Summer on Lake Cumberland. So when they decided to get married she knew instantly exactly where she would say their vows overlooking the mountains and lake. Leelynn is a very sentimental person and wanted to incorporate many things during her day that was special to her. She decided to have her Mother’s wedding dress and veil altered so she could where the same exact dress that her Mother got married in. Not only did she wear her mothers wedding dress but she wore her grandmothers wedding dress to her rehearsal dinner, you can see the shorter version dress in the photos within the blog photos. She looked precious in it, it was so special to all of them. The cute little purse she carried was also a family heirloom. Despite the rain their love for one another filled the area. They had high spirits and a special joy filled day they will never forget with the most beautiful view!
