Whitley + Darius’s Wedding day was such a beautiful and cooler August day. After many years of being together and pushing their wedding day back because of COVID this day was long awaited for.
This venue was such a stunning and unique place. It was so spacious and had the most distinctive style + design. The stone details were to die for! Their day was filled with laughter and sunshine. Their first look was filled with tears and smiles from ear to ear. We ventured down to the venues creek and took their bridal portraits. The prettiest little butterfly landed right on Darius’s finger and didn’t want to leave. It was such a sweet detail from the day. Their ceremony + toasts were filled with the sweetest words form their loved ones. They ended the perfect night dancing the night away celebrating Darius + Whitley’s lovely Wedding Day! We wish you all the best!

Finally! A brand new website, and I can blog now! YAY!
When I was thinking about what my first blog post would be, I had a few ideas, but what stood out the most was my success. I have to admit it hasn’t been easy. There have been a lot of tears involved — I have missed family gatherings, been absent in my friendships, and put a lot on hold in my life.
This is going to be my fifth year as a photographer. WOW! I can’t even believe I am saying that. Five years. It is crazy to look back and see the progress I’ve made. I am so excited to see where Tonya Lynn Studios goes from here. I don’t want to stop learning and growing, and am so grateful for the experiences I’ve had.
Last year, I attended a wedding workshop hosted by photographer Katelyn James at her home. I met 12 incredible women and learned so much. Next week, I will travel to Florida to train with the best in the country. I am thankful for this opportunity, and the ability to share with you what I learn on my blog. Stay tuned!
